This video was posted on YouTube by AWS and is a good intro to what this is all about at a high-level.
It looks like AWS will get a credible hybrid cloud play out of this and VMware gets to utilise the geographic scale and flexibility of AWS.
I really like how you can have applications running on this platform and can hook into the vast array of AWS features that are sitting right next to it.
Looks like a win-win to me. Better start increasing my skills and knowledge in AWS.
